Some places are just right for a wedding. Nippersink Lodge has been one of them since 1935 — and the great room, with its stone fireplace and second-floor railing, has the photographs to prove it. The 1965 bouquet toss from that railing is still one of our favorites.

A Mentone wedding in the Great Room or on the deck overlooking Little River. Breakfast made fresh the morning after. The river just down the steps, and ninety years of good memories already in the walls.
